Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in HR functions. Fresh graduates with strong internship experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Good knowledge of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and leave/payroll coordination.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian Employment Act and labor regulations.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills – able to interact with staff at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience in education industry is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
HR Operations
  • Manage day‑to‑day HR operational activities, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with the university’s policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee records, HR documentation, and ensure smooth HR service delivery to academic and non‑academic staff.
Scholarship Administration
  • Manage the scholarship process including eligibility checks, documentation, disbursement, and reporting.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external bodies to ensure timely processing of scholarship applications and renewals.
TMM Reporting
  • Prepare, consolidate, and submit reports accurately within deadlines.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations based on report data.
Payroll Reporting
  • Prepare accurate payroll reports.
  • Ensure payroll data integrity, handle queries, and support payroll audits when required.
Issuance of Letters of Appointment (LOA)
  • Draft and issue LOAs for various academic and administrative roles.
Contract Renewal (Academic Staff)
  • Coordinate contract renewal processes for academic staff.
  • Ensure timely reminders, documentation, and approvals are completed in accordance with university policy.
Performance Appraisal Management
  • Administer the annual performance appraisal exercise for academic and non‑academic staff.
  • Provide guidance to HODs/Deans on appraisal processes and ensure timely completion.
  • Support in compiling appraisal outcomes for management review and career development planning.
