We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant HR Manager to join our team. The Assistant HR Manager is responsible for supporting the Group HR Manager in planning, managing, and enhancing all human resources and administrative functions in alignment with the organization’s goals. This role ensures compliance with all statutory regulations, fosters organizational culture, and oversees the effective execution of core HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, payroll administration, and strategic HR planning.
Staffing and Recruitment:
Responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from identifying staffing needs to sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
Source potential candidates through various channels including online channels, social media platforms, networking, and employee referrals.
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates based on job fit.
Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely and effective hiring.
Learning & Development
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps and development areas.
Create training plans based on identified requirements.
Design and implement training strategies to address organizational needs while developing and maintaining training SOPs, policies and process flow.
Other HR and administrative functions
To assist in the disciplinary procedures / process to be taken for any employees' disciplinary cases.
Ensure strict adherence to all applicable Malaysian labor laws, including the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Ensure a safe work environment that complies with occupational safety and health regulations.
Assist in organizing company events and staff well-being activities.
Assist to fulfill ISO audit requirements.
Job Requirements
Possess Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Studies or a related discipline.
Hands-on experience and minimum 5 years of working experience as HR Generalist.
Good knowledge of Employment Act and HR practices and regulations.
Possess good problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Willingness to travel as and when required.
