Job summary
A dynamic food corporation in Shah Alam is seeking a Senior HR Executive or Assistant Manager HR to shape the human resources strategy and support the workforce. The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of experience, knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include managing recruitment, payroll, and employee relations. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business is required, with professional certification an advantage.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in a senior HR generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and build effective recruitment channels.
- Handle monthly payroll administration.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, onboarding and exit formalities.
- Support performance management and staff training initiatives.
- Address employee relations matters to maintain a positive workplace.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Provide general HR administrative support.

- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes and build effective recruitment channels.
- Handle monthly payroll administration.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, attendance, onboarding and exit formalities.
- Support performance management, staff training and development initiatives.
- Address employee relations matters, providing advice and solutions to maintain a positive workplace.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Provide general HR administrative support to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- 4–6 years of experience in a senior HR generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Proactive problem‑solving skills and a solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in HR data analysis and report generation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field.
- Professional certification (IHRM or CIPD) is an advantage.
