Job summary
A leading manufacturing company is seeking a senior professional for supplier development in Asia. The role focuses on wire, PCBAs, and plastics, requiring at least 10 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, and a Bachelor’s degree. The position allows remote work and necessitates regular travel. Candidates should be meticulous, analytical, and possess strong negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in purchasing or supply chain.
- Experience with IATF and VDA is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently is required.
Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate potential suppliers and develop new vendors.
- Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers and departments for purchases.
- Source and procure materials according to project requirements.
- Monitor market trends and conduct price comparisons.
- Prepare timely reports and analyses.
- Liaise with the Purchasing Manager for process improvements.
