Job summary
A healthcare provider in Tanjung Rambutan seeks an Occupational Health Doctor on a project basis. The role involves conducting medical examinations and assessing fitness for work while ensuring compliance with health standards. The ideal candidate must be a registered medical practitioner with necessary certifications and experience in occupational health. This position requires independence and ability to meet project timelines, providing essential health surveillance for employees exposed to hazards.
Qualifications
- Registered Medical Practitioner with MMC.
- Certified OHD registered with DOSH.
- Experience in project-based occupational health work is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational medical examinations as required.
- Assess employees’ fitness for work based on job scope.
- Provide medical advice related to occupational health.
Skills
Education
- Conduct occupational medical examinations as required under specific projects.
- Assess employees’ fitness for work based on job scope and workplace hazards.
- Review and interpret medical results for project personnel.
- Provide medical advice related to occupational health risks and preventive measures.
- Support health surveillance activities for employees exposed to occupational hazards.
- Prepare medical reports and documentation in compliance with DOSH and project requirements.
- Advise on return-to-work or work restrictions where applicable.
- Participate in site visits or audits when required by the project.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, DOSH guidelines, and professional standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of all medical and employee records.
- Registered Medical Practitioner with MMC.
- Certified Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) registered with DOSH.
- Experience in project-based or site-based occupational health work is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and meet project timelines.
