A leading healthcare provider in Selangor is seeking a qualified medical professional to conduct patient assessments, prescribe medications, and provide teleconsultation services. The ideal candidate must have an MBBS degree, be registered with the Malaysian Medical Council, and have five years of related experience. This role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining professional standards.
Qualifications
- Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
- Holds a valid and updated Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- Gained at least five years of experience working in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to formulate appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Request relevant investigations and interpret the results obtained.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as per established protocols.
- Develop and implement patient management plans collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
- Provide teleconsultation and issue Electronic Prescriptions (EPS).
- Maintain professional standards of clinical knowledge and behavior.
- Engage in continuing education and training to enhance expertise.
- Work collaboratively to perform related medical duties.
Education
- Conduct thorough patient assessments (in person or virtual as needed) to formulate an appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Request relevant investigations and interpret the results obtained.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as per established protocols.
- Develop and implement patient management plans while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams where required.
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
- Provide teleconsultation through My Health Advisor and issuance of Electronic Prescriptions (EPS) in accordance with clinical and telemedicine practice guidelines.
- Maintain professional standards of clinical knowledge, communication and behavior with patients and colleagues.
- Engage in continuing education and training opportunities to enhance medical expertise.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to perform related medical duties as per service requirements.
- Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) or an equivalent medical degree.
- Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
- Holds a valid and updated Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- Gained at least five years of experience working in a related field.
