About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Tutor Assistant to join our team at YouTutor Sdn Bhd in Sibu, Sarawak. As a part-time Mathematics Tutor Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our team of experienced tutors in delivering high-quality mathematics lessons to students from Form 1 to Form 6.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the lead tutor in lesson planning, preparation and delivery

Providing individual or small-group tutoring to students to reinforce concepts and address any learning gaps

Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to the lead tutor

Collaborating with the tutoring team to develop engaging and effective learning resources

Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress and performance

Contributing to the overall development and improvement of the tutoring programme

What we're looking for

Strong academic background in mathematics, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at the secondary school level

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students

Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia

Patience, creativity and a passion for helping students succeed

Adaptability and the ability to work well in a team environment
