Job summary
A motorcycle trading company in Penang is seeking a full-time Account Executive to manage financial records and provide essential support for operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with experience in accounting software, and basic knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards. Responsibilities include bookkeeping, preparing reports, and assisting with tax submissions. If you're a team player with a strong sense of responsibility, this is the role for you.
Qualifications
- Experience with accounting software is preferred.
- Strong sense of responsibility in handling clients' accounts.
- Ability to work independently when needed.
Responsibilities
- Handle bookkeeping and data entry of financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements.
- Assist in preparation and submission of tax returns.
- Provide administrative and clerical support related to accounts.
- Communicate with senior account executive for accuracy.
Skills
CT YONG MOTORS Sdn Bhd is looking for a talented Account Executive to join our dynamic team in our Sungai Bakap office. With a total of 8 branches, we are a growing company, and in this full-time role, you will provide essential support to ensure the smooth running of our operations.
- Handle bookkeeping and data entry of company’s financial transactions into accounting software
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements for clients
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and statutory filings
- Provide administrative and clerical support related to accounts
- Communicate and coordinate with senior account executive to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information
- Experience with accounting software such as SQL accounting (preferred)
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility in handling clients' accounts
- Basic knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax requirements
- A team player with the ability to work independently when needed
