We are representing our client, a public-listed Malaysian industrial manufacturing group involved in the production and distribution of specialised components and solutions supporting key sectors such as power utilities, renewable energy, infrastructure development, telecommunications, oil & gas, and construction. The Group operates manufacturing facilities in Melaka and supplies both domestic and regional markets across Southeast Asia.

As the company continues to expand its manufacturing capabilities, strengthen export markets, and pursue growth opportunities in infrastructure and energy sectors, the organization is seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead its next phase of growth.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for the overall strategic leadership, operational performance, and long-term growth of the Group. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to drive business expansion, strengthen operational excellence across manufacturing operations, and enhance the company’s market presence locally and internationally.

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the company’s long-term business strategy aligned with the Board’s vision and growth objectives.
• Identify opportunities for expansion in domestic and international markets, particularly within infrastructure, energy, and industrial sectors.
• Lead strategic initiatives including product diversification, capacity expansion, and potential mergers or acquisitions.
• Provide strong financial stewardship to ensure sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
• Oversee financial planning, capital allocation, investment strategies, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, regulatory requirements, and public-listed company obligations.
• Maintain strong engagement with investors, regulators, auditors, and financial institutions.

Business Growth & Market Expansion

• Strengthen the company’s market presence in Malaysia and regional export markets.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including utilities, contractors, infrastructure developers, and industrial clients.
• Drive revenue growth through new product lines, strategic partnerships, and market penetration.

Operational Oversight

• Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost competitiveness.
• Work closely with operations and engineering teams to optimize production capacity and supply chain performance.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operational processes.

Leadership & Organizational Development

• Build and lead a high-performing executive management team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and accountability across the organization.
• Develop leadership capabilities and succession planning within the company.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce/Business Administration, or related field.
• Prior experience as CFO or equivalent senior financial leadership role is highly preferred.
• Minimum 15–20 years of leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or engineering-related sector.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale manufacturing operations and driving business growth.
• Experience working with public-listed companies or corporate governance frameworks.
• Strong strategic and commercial mindset
• Excellent financial and analytical capabilities
• Deep understanding of corporate governance and regulatory compliance
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance financial discipline with operational growth
