Our client, a reputable construction and engineering company, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the overall business operations and strategic growth. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, financial performance, and business development to achieve sustainable results.
- Provide leadership in developing and executing business strategies and objectives
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and compliance
- Drive budgeting, cost control, and financial performance monitoring
- Lead and develop the management team to achieve company goals
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand market presence
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
- Minimum 5 years of senior management experience, preferably in construction or engineering
- Strong business acumen and proven track record in driving growth and performance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage
- High integrity, results-oriented, and strategic mindset
- Five‑day work week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm)
