Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing and purchasing of all production materials. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma, 2-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, and strong communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of the organization.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years working experience in Purchasing or Procurement, preferably in manufacturing or chemical industries.

Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase all production materials and services.
  • Ensure timely arrival of materials to support business activities.
  • Manage purchase orders for materials and items.
  • Execute purchasing procedures in accordance with ISO and Procurement Manual.

Skills

Good computer skills, especially in MS applications (Excel and Word)
Good communication skills
Good negotiation skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to work under pressure
High integrity

  • To source and purchase all production materials / instruments / equipment / services / all other miscellaneous items for continuous operation of the organization
  • To ensure timely arrival of raw and packaging materials and trading items to support Company business activities
  • Purchase order management for raw and packaging materials and trading items (from both the third party and inter-company)
  • To ensure daily purchasing procedure is executed in accordance to Company ISO procedure and Procurement Manual
Qualifications

Degree / Diploma in any discipline.
