A leading purchasing firm in Malaysia is seeking a skilled procurement specialist to manage supplier relations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain, with at least 3 years of purchasing experience and proficiency in Mandarin. - Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to secure best pricing and delivery of materials.
- Ensure purchased items comply with Malaysian standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper filing for all regulatory submissions and approvals.
- Support audits related to product compliance and import controls.

Strumenti
- Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to secure the best pricing, terms, and timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure purchased items comply with Malaysian standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit applications to:
- SIRIM (product certification, testing reports, labeling requirements)
- Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) Certificate of Approval (COA) for electrical products
- Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) device certifications
- Ensure timely renewal and tracking of all relevant certificates and licenses.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for all regulatory submissions and approvals.
- Liaise with testing labs, consultants, and government officials where required.
- Support internal and external audits related to product compliance and import controls.
- Create Purchase Orders and Material Master.
- Manage shipment arrangements from issuance of Purchase Orders to arrival at warehouse/site.
- Degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain or any related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing operations will be preferred.
- Mandarin proficiency (written/spoken) is essential for liaising with China/Taiwan based suppliers.
- Strong analytical, communication skills & attention to details.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
