A leading automation company is looking for an HR Generalist based in Puchong, Malaysia. This role involves managing HR operations, payroll processing, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with Malaysian labor laws. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational environment. This role is responsible to support all HR matters to ensure the business operates smooth and works towards improving employer‑employee relationships. This position will be the focal point for the portfolios assigned, partner with the Business to understand how the business works and what it needs to achieve its financial & operation goals through the people.
Co‑ordinate and support end‑to‑end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, training & development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
Manage monthly payroll processing, statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB), and employee allowances.
Administer and monitor employee benefits programmes.
Prepare and submit HR‑related reports to both local and regional offices in a timely and accurate manner.
Co‑ordinate and manage the yearly staff appraisal process, ensuring proper execution, documentation, and follow‑up actions.
Assist in workforce planning, talent retention initiatives, and organisational development activities.
Handle employee relations matters and ensure full compliance with Malaysian labour laws, tax regulations, and internal HR policies.
Maintain accurate HR records and reports, and manage HRIS systems (Workday and Boss i‑Net experience are added advantages).
Support the planning and execution of HR initiatives, driving continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a HR generalist role, preferably within high‑tech or multinational companies.
Strong understanding of Malaysian labour laws (Employment Act, EPF/SOCSO, PCB) and HR best practices.
Hands‑on experience in payroll administration, benefits management, recruitment, training, employee relations, and annual performance appraisal coordination.
Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday and Boss i‑Net, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information and work closely with senior management.
