Job summary
A leading market exploration company is hiring for a role based in Ipoh/Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will engage in market research, negotiate deals, and maintain customer relationships while being proficient in Mandarin or Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia, and English. Responsibilities include sales reporting and ensuring compliance with company standards. Travel is necessary.
Qualifications
- Preferred candidates should speak Mandarin or Cantonese to communicate effectively with clients.
- Candidates must be self-motivated, persuasive, and goal-oriented.
- Travel for outstation meetings may be required.
Responsibilities
- Research and explore new markets and business opportunities.
- Negotiate deals, handle customer complaints, and maintain relationships.
- Prepare data and sales reports, and report sales status to superiors.
Skills
- Based in Ipoh / KL.
- Research & explore new markets and business opportunities like hypermarket, supermarket, hardware shop etc.
- Negotiate & close deals, handle customer complaints and/or feedback.
- Establish & maintain good relationship with customers.
- Maintain good merchandising standards and ensure compliance to company operating procedures.
- Monitor debts ensuring effective collection within agreed time frame.
- Report to superior on sales status, performances & competitor(s) activities.
- Collect and analyze information and prepare data and sales report.
- Keep abreast on market trend & competitor(s), provide accurate & updated market information.
- To achieve the objectives and/or ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.
- Take on ad hoc duties and special projects assigned by the management.
- Travelling outstation needed.
- Self-motivated, self-directed, persuasive, goal-oriented.
- Preferred Mandarin or Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia and English speaking candidates. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin/Cantonese to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking clients.
