This is a full-time, on-site position for a Data Engineer located in Bangi. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of large datasets, and optimizing data architectures. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing ETL processes, constructing data models, implementing data solutions, and supporting analytics initiatives to generate actionable insights. Additional responsibilities include maintaining data security and compliance best practices.
- Proficiency in Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and ETL development
- Strong knowledge of databases, such as SQL, NoSQL, and data query tools
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud) and related services
- Hands‑on experience with programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Scala for data processing
- Ability to design data solutions supporting analytics, machine learning, and reporting
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and data quality
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field; advanced degrees are a plus
