Job summary
A consultancy firm in Penang is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer. Responsibilities include planning and designing engineering projects, preparing tender documents, managing non-conformities, and liaising with authorities. Qualifications include a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, and ability to work independently. Fresh graduates or those with 2-3 years of experience are encouraged to apply. Competitive candidates may also have Mandarin fluency.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel is an added advantage.
- Able to work as a team, assertive, independent and proactive.
- Possess own transport.
- Fresh graduates or 2-3 years experience are most welcome to apply.
- Fluent in Mandarin is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design and administer contract/project of mechanical and electrical engineering works.
- Prepare tender documents and tender drawings.
- Perform tender evaluations and prepare evaluation reports.
- Attend technical and progress meetings with stakeholders.
- Manage projects and identify non-conformity of contractor’s work.
- Liaise with local authorities for approvals and inspections.

7. To liaise with local authorities on the submission approval, site inspection, handling over process and obtain clearance letter.
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
