Riken Keiki Sdn. Bhd., an established engineering company in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical) to join their team. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for driving the company's growth and strategic initiatives within the oil and gas and petrochemical industries.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to expand the company's client base in the oil and gas and petrochemical sectors
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of products and services to meet client requirements and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and tenders to potential clients
- Negotiate and manage contracts and commercial agreements with clients and suppliers
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision‑making
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales and business development team
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and the company's policies and procedures
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a business development or sales management role within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry
- Proven track record of successfully securing and managing large, complex projects and contracts
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with the ability to navigate complex business relationships
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders
- Proficient in project management, financial analysis, and strategic planning
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
