Job summary

An engineering firm is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support complex projects in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors. Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to contribute to complex engineering projects in the Oil & Gas, LNG, Refinery, Petrochemical, and Energy Transition sectors. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in process design, technical validation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate process engineering deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, H&MBs, line lists, equipment lists, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.) and company specifications.
  • Support HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and other process safety reviews.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align with project goals and timelines.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and provide technical recommendations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues during project execution.
  • Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical/Process Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years in PMC, EPC, FEED, and detailed engineering projects.
  • Industry: Oil & Gas, LNG, Refinery, Petrochemical, Energy Transition.
  • Software: Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, ProMax, UniSim, Pipesim, or equivalent.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Chartered Engineer (CEng), Professional Engineer (PE), or equivalent.
