About the role

Are you an Interior Design Consultant passionate about creating exceptional living and working spaces? Steadfast Design Sdn Bhd, an authorized dealer of Signature Distribution Sdn Bhd, is seeking a talented Interior Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role located at our strategic showroom in KL Trillion (opposite Ampang Park MRT), you will play a pivotal part in shaping innovative design solutions that bring our clients' visions to life.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating closely with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
• Developing creative, functional and visually appealing interior design concepts and plans
• Selecting and sourcing appropriate materials, furnishings, and accessories to bring designs to life
• Overseeing project timelines and budgets to ensure successful implementation
• Providing expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the design and renovation process
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices

What we're looking for

• A degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interior Design Consultant, preferably in a design studio or architecture firm
• Strong technical design skills, including expertise in CAD, 3D modelling, and space planning
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to translate design ideas into tangible solutions
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating innovative, visually appealing spaces
• Proficiency in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability best practices
