Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans, mortgages, asset management, insurance, wealth management, and private banking tailored to our customers’ needs.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team as a Premier Relationship Banker, working with colleagues to define, manage, and achieve divisional business targets.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Manage, acquire, grow, and deepen Premier customers’ relationships through effective relationship management.
2. Drive revenue and AUM growth through holistic financial planning.
3. Ensure a high level of sales and service of HSBC retail products based on needs-based selling.
4. Refer mortgage business to Mortgage Arranger (MA).
5. Ensure best practices in wealth sales are referred to peers and others.
6. Ensure compliance with products, sales policies, procedures, and guidelines set by the Bank and relevant authorities at all times.

Requirements:

1. Experience in relationship management of High Net Worth clients is preferred.
2. A recognized tertiary diploma or degree qualification.
3. Relevant licenses in marketing wealth and investment products such as PCE, TBE, CEILLI, FIMM, IPPC are required.
4. Proven strong sales track record in insurance and investment products.
5. Sales-oriented, results-driven.
6. Highly skilled in influencing, networking, and portfolio management.
7. Fluent in spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese is an advantage.
