Job Overview

Responsibilities

• The role will work independently to source for new suppliers according to Direct & Indirect requirements.
• Understand and negotiate Terms and Conditions of Purchase with Suppliers.
• Evaluate quotations, create competitive advantage for best price, lead time and delivery terms.
• Ensure compliance with Company’s guidelines and policies.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and manages cost reduction activities to achieve annual cost reduction KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement policies of the organization.
• Prepare and execute contracts as well as perform post-award administration (eg. Negotiating, issuing change orders, and contract close-outs).
• Understand the concept of Purchase Requisition, Sourcing, quotation evaluation, till Purchase order placement to Supplier.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Procurement & Sourcing / Supply Chain Management / Business Administration.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a Strategic Sourcing in Direct and/or Indirect procurement business environment, knowledge in field instruments or Analyser system or other Engineering industry Sourcing and Procurement will be an advantage and preferable.
• Deliverable-focused, self-motivated with a mindset to excel in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Experience in SAP / HANA / Ariba and other Procurement system / software is an added advantage.
• Expert in Excel / BI report knowledge.
• Good written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and open to changes.
• Excellent communicator able to demonstrate communicating effectively with senior management, supplier, and internal stakeholder.
