A leading procurement firm is seeking an experienced Executive, Procurement in Shah Alam, Malaysia. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Executive, Procurement to manage end-to-end procurement activities and provide strong operational support to site operations. This role requires hands‑on execution with a high level of ownership in sourcing, supplier coordination, cost optimisation, and SAP‑based purchasing, while ensuring compliance, governance, and timely PR‑to‑PO execution.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and HQ Procurement, acting as a key procurement partner at site level.
Execute and manage the full procurement lifecycle including PR review, RFQ/tendering, supplier sourcing, commercial evaluation, PO issuance, expediting, and delivery follow‑up
Support procurement activities across MRO, services, spare parts, warehouse consumables, packaging, logistics, and capex/maintenance
Act as the primary procurement focal point for site operations, ensuring purchasing priorities align with operational requirements
Drive cost efficiency initiatives through benchmarking, standardisation, and improved sourcing strategies
Ensure full compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
Perform SAP purchasing activities (PR/PO processing) and ensure accuracy and integrity of vendor master and PO data
Monitor supplier performance and follow up on delivery, quality, and service issues to minimise operational impact
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and HQ Procurement on sourcing strategies, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related disciplines
3–5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environments
Strong hands‑on experience with SAP Procurement/Purchasing modules
Experience handling categories such as MRO, services, logistics, warehouse supplies, packaging, and/or capex‑related procurement
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Able to work independently, manage priorities, and perform in a fast‑paced operational environment
