Job summary
A global maritime management company based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a project manager to oversee safety culture initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in HSEQ, strong project management skills, and a passion for cultural change within a diverse organization. Responsibilities include managing projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and reporting to senior management.

- Experience leading or supporting cultural change initiatives.

What You'll Responsible For:
Plan, manage, and execute safety culture projects across the organization.
Serve as the main point of contact for external consultants supporting the projects.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration on project goals.
Plan and allocate resources effectively to support project timelines and objectives.
Monitor and track the progress of culture change initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed.
Facilitate internal communication related to safety culture projects to ensure transparency and engagement.
Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, challenges, and outcomes.
Identify and manage project risks to ensure successful implementation.
Support the development and implementation of tools and metrics to measure cultural change.
Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing related to safety culture.
What Experience and Skills Required:
Proven experience in HSEQ and/or operational ship management.
Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
Experience leading or supporting cultural change initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on cultural change metrics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Passion to lead change in a global, diverse, growing organisation
Relevant academic qualifications in safety, management, or related fields are preferred.
