About the role
This is a full-time Principal Structure Engineer role with DNP CONSULT SDN. BHD. based in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for providing expert structural engineering advice and oversight on a range of civil and construction projects. Your strategic input will be crucial in ensuring the technical and operational success of the company's initiatives.

What you'll be doing

Lead the structural engineering aspects of civil and construction projects, from conceptual design to implementation

Head our Structure Department, oversee the work of senior engineers, junior engineers and draftpersons to ensure high standards of quality and safety

Conduct site inspections, review technical drawings and calculations, and provide design solutions

Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative and cost-effective structural engineering solutions

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, technologies, and best practices

Contribute to the development of the company's technical capabilities and knowledge base

What we're looking for

Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field

Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional registration

Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in structural engineering, preferably in a consulting or construction environment

Proven track record of leading the structural engineering aspects of complex civil and construction projects

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Proficient in the use of engineering software and design tools

Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
