We are seeking a passionate and skilled IT Software Engineer to join our team at Carsem. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting MES and factory integration systems that drive our digital transformation and enhance production efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is embracing smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies in the semiconductor industry.
- Design and develop manufacturing solutions to support production operations.
- Work closely with factory users to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions aligned with Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Maintain and enhance MES and FI systems to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
- Manage incidents, changes, problems, and projects following IT service management best practices.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis to ensure high system availability and rapid issue resolution.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, with a focus on software development.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is an added advantage.
- Programming & Frameworks: .NET Framework (VB.NET, C#), ASP.NET, Web Services, REST API
- Additional Programming: .NET Core, Python (advantageous)
- Legacy Systems & Automation: VB6, VBA, SECS/GEMS (added advantage)
- Databases: MS SQL, Oracle (experience with both is a plus)
- Low-Code Platforms: OutSystems (proficiency is an advantage)
