Job summary
A financial services firm based in Penang is seeking an experienced individual to manage financial reconciliations and SST matters. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance, with 1-2 years of relevant experience. The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be proficient in SQL and Excel, and have the ability to meet tight deadlines. Immediate availability is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong analytical thinking, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Handle bank and other settlement reconciliations accurately and promptly.
- Manage the company’s SST matters, including preparation and submission.
- Oversee the E-Invoice system and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
- Perform financial and scenario analysis.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and assist in month-end closing.
- Assist in audit preparation and provide necessary documentation.

Manage the company’s SST (Sales and Service Tax) matters, including preparation and submission.
Oversee the E-Invoice system and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
Perform financial and scenario analysis.
Prepare monthly journal entries and assist in month-end closing and financial reporting.
Assist in audit preparation, coordination, and providing necessary documentation to auditors.
Process payments to relevant parties through electronic transfer in a timely and accurate manner.
Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as required by management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong analytical thinking, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in SQL, accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Responsible, committed, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Immediate availability or short notice period will be an added advantage.
