A prominent university in Malaysia is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee all finance-related functions, ensure tax compliance, and manage financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, significant experience in finance, and strong leadership abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management of the University. This role oversees all finance-related functions including financial reporting, accounting policies, budget administration, funds management, tax compliance and etc. The candidate is responsible to administer the preparation and submission of financial accounts to the External Auditors, Audit & Risk Committee and relevant Boards. The candidate is also expected to undertake other administrative portfolio, including insurance matters, payroll, attend to various Purchases Committees in the University and service the relevant Boards.
