About the role

Siong Construction & Engineering Private Limited is seeking an experienced HR Executive to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As an HR Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall human resources function and contributing to the growth and success of our organisation. This is a full-time position based on-site at our Johor Bahru location.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
• Administering and maintaining accurate employee records and personnel files
• Coordinating and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
• Participating in the planning and execution of HR initiatives, such as training and development programs
• Assisting with payroll processing and benefits administration
• Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
• Collaborating with the HR team to identify and address HR-related challenges

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the construction or engineering industry
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation
• Proficient in HR-related software and data management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptable and flexible, with a solution-oriented mindset
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
