Job summary

A major property development firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced HR professional to manage a variety of HR functions including onboarding, payroll, and compliance with Malaysian labor laws. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in HR Management with at least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HR2000 payroll system will be advantageous. This position requires discretion and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years HR experience in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Familiar with Malaysian Employment Act and statutory requirements.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of employee records.

Overview

Malton Berhad is an established company listed on the Main Board of the Malaysia Securities Exchange Board. The core activities of the Malton Berhad Group include property development, project management and construction works. As part of our expansion programme, we are looking for suitably qualified and highly motivated Malaysians to join us.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the full spectrum of HR activities, not limited to onboarding/offboarding, compensation & benefits, training, attendance & leave management, employee relations, payroll processing, issuance of HR letters, track employee confirmation / retirement / contract expiry, etc.
  • Ensure timely salary disbursement and statutory compliance.
  • Prepare and update bonus and increment files for Management review and approval.
  • Attend to employee’s requests, inquiries, complaints and ensure timely response.
  • Coordinate and update insurance coverage and claims.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and company policies.
  • Prepare ad-hoc/ relevant reports and documentation for Management reporting / audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality of accurate and up-to-date employee records, database and information at all times.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years HR experience in a fast pace working environment
  • Demonstrate discretion and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Familiar with Malaysian Employment Act and statutory requirements
  • Resourceful with good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Able to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision
  • Hands on using HR2000 payroll system will be an added advantage
