A financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Executive in HR focusing on payroll and training. Responsibilities include ensuring 100% accuracy in payroll processing, managing employee records, and overseeing training programs. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR, specifically with payroll. The role offers immediate joining and requires proactive candidates who can work independently.
Ensure 100% accuracy in payroll processing and employee data entry, including timely verification of all records.
Administer monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.).
Manage workforce movements such as transfers, resignations, and promotions, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected in payroll.
Handle employee overtime, allowances, deductions and claims in line with company policy and statutory guidelines.
Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the HRMS system (e.g., new user login, access errors, data inconsistencies).
Maintain and update employee records to ensure data integrity within the HR system.
Generate and review payroll reports for accuracy and submission to management for approvals.
Assist in the preparation of annual income tax reporting (Form EA, Form E, etc.) and ensure compliance with LHDN regulations.
Continuously improve payroll processes and recommend system or process enhancements for efficiency.
Manage the overall execution of training needs, including yearly training plan and evaluation of training effectiveness.
Coordinate in-house and external training programs for employees.
Handle applications for training grants and claims under HRDC.
Facilitate employee onboarding to ensure smooth integration into the organization.
Optimize training initiatives to enhance performance, retention, and career growth.
Job requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
At least 3-5 years of relevant HR experience (with strong exposure to payroll and training).
Hands‑on experience in payroll & statutory requirements and the Employment Act.
Strong knowledge and experience in HRDC claim process.
Ability to address payroll‑related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
Experience with FlexHR system is an added advantage.
Pro‑active, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to join immediately.
