Job summary
A leading construction firm in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for assisting project execution and preparation of final accounts. The role requires candidates to have a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, proficiency in English and Bahasa, while knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided. Benefits include medical, dental, and sports club activities.

Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day duties on all projects handled.
- Prepare final accounts and measurement of Bills of Quantities.
- Run projects under supervision of Senior Assistant Technical Director.
Skills
Education
Required to perform quantity surveying duties necessary for the efficient operation of the office and to be based at HQ/branchers/ other sites.
Assists Senior Assistant Technical Director/Assistant Technical Director in day-to-day duties on all projects handled.
Assist Senior Team Leaders/Team Leaders/Senior Project Executive/Project Executive in the day to day running of projects.
Undertake all duties assigned to them by the Technical Director/Senior Assistant Technical Director.
Assist on final accounts, measurement of variations, measurement of Bills of Quantities and estimates.
Handles and runs projects under close monitoring and supervision of Senior Assistant Technical Director/Assistant Technical Director/Senior Team Leader [SATD/ATD/STL].
Assists SATD/ATD/STL in day-to-day duties on all projects handled.
Attends all Project Co-ordination, Technical or Site Meeting of projects under their care.
Assist in preparation of final accounts, measurement of variations, measurement of Bills of Quantities.
Assist in preparation of Bills of Quantities allocated by SATD/ATD/STL/TL.
Diploma/Certificate holders in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent.
Proficient in English and Bahasa. Ability to speak and write in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
No experience is required as in-house training will be provided.
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years relevant working experience except candidate with exceptional qualities.
Medical, Dental, Optical, Sports Club activities, Annual Dinner.
