Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Penang is seeking a Talent Sourcer to engage potential candidates and maintain candidate pipelines. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Human Resources, 1-3 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in using recruitment tools. Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, or HR support.
- Familiarity with job boards and Boolean search.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Responsibilities
- Search and engage potential candidates through various platforms.
- Maintain candidate pipelines in the ATS.
- Conduct initial outreach to candidates.

- Search, identify, and engage potential candidates through job boards, professional networks, databases, and social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed).
- Maintain and update candidate pipelines in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Screen resumes to assess candidates against role requirements before submitting to recruiters.
- Conduct initial outreach to passive and active candidates via email, phone, or social channels.
- Support employer branding initiatives by sharing job postings and engaging with talent communities online.
- Research talent market trends, competitor hiring activities, and salary benchmarks.
- Coordinate with the recruitment team to schedule interviews or assessments when required.
- Ensure sourcing activities are compliant with company policies and data privacy regulations.
- Prepare sourcing activity reports and provide regular updates to recruiters/hiring managers.
- Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, or HR support (fresh graduates with strong interest in recruitment may be considered).
- Familiarity with job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and ATS systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
