Job summary

A growing marketing firm in Johor, Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Executive to manage HR operations and payroll administration. Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, preparing HR-related documents, and liaising with government officials. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, at least 3 years of HR experience, and be knowledgeable about Malaysian labour laws. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in software applications are essential. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR environment.
  • Knowledge of Employment Act 1955 and Malaysia Labour Laws.
  • Able to work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monthly payroll administration and other HR functions.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and HR documents.
  • Prepare various employment-related letters and maintain documentation.
  • Liaise with statutory government officers for inquiries.

Job description

Due to the company’s business expansion, we are looking for a HR Executive who will responsible for providing support and reporting directly to the HR Manager, in handling matters related to human resource operations and strategically planning HR initiatives that will be benefited to the company.

  • Mainly responsible for monthly payroll administration, but not limited to other HR functions such as recruitment, training & development, employees performance and engagement
  • Responsible for timely and accurately processing and proper maintenance of employee data and other HR related documents, such as personal files and records, attendance, leaves form, contract expiry, corporate insurance, medical, etc
  • Responsible for all types of letter preparations such as employment contract, internal transfers, acceptance of resignations, promotion, disciplinary letter and etc., as well as to be documented properly
  • Responsible for employees’ EA form and the company’s Form E
  • Liaison with statutory government officer for any inquiries
  • To perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the superior/ management
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Admin Management, or equivalent
  • Minimum with 3 years of experience in HR environment
  • Knowledge of Employment Act 1955, Malaysia Labour Laws and other related legislation
  • Good administrative skills mainly in keeping records, preparing reports, well organized, detailed oriented and able to work independently under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and able to interact with different levels of employees
  • Proficient in computer application software, such as iFlexi Payroll, Microsoft Excel, PPT, Emailing and etc
  • Able to start work immediately or with short notice is preferred
