Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Kedah is looking for an HR Executive with at least 3 years of HR experience in the manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing training plans, managing attendance systems, and supporting recruitment processes. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential. Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of attendance scheduling systems are required, along with fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

  • Good understanding of Employment Act and OT calculations.

Job description

We are seeking a HR Executive with manufacturing experience to oversee training & development programs, manage attendance systems, and support recruitment activities. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple HR tasks independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training & Development
    • Develop and implement annual training plans (Training Plan & Training Matrix)
    • Coordinate onboarding training, production safety training, and job competency training
    • Arrange internal and external training sessions and maintain training records & cost tracking
    • Ensure training documentation compliance for ISO audits and customer audits
    • Manage and verify attendance records via Infotech or other attendance systems
    • Process overtime (OT) applications, shift scheduling, leave and absenteeism records
    • Investigate irregular attendance (Late-in, No Punch, Absent) and follow up with department supervisors
  • Recruitment & Onboarding
    • Manage job postings and recruitment based on production hiring needs (Operator & Staff level)
    • Arrange interviews, conduct background checks, and issue job offer letters
    • Handle onboarding procedures and employee document collection
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years HR experience (must be from Manufacturing industry)
  • Proficient in attendance & shift scheduling systems, and strong in Excel (VLOOKUP & Pivot Table preferred)
  • Good understanding of Employment Act and OT/Shift/Rest Day calculations
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with production teams and management
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Language: Bahasa Malaysia & English (Mandarin is an added advantage)
Additional Advantages
