Job summary
A global sourcing company in Klang City is seeking a Sourcing Buyer to manage sourcing activities across multiple categories. The role involves collaborating with product and vendor teams to optimize value for clients. Candidates should bring a graduate background and ideally have some global sourcing experience. This is an entry-level opportunity in a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications
- Entry level position into the team: a graduate (or equivalent) or someone who has relevant/transferable experience.
- Global sourcing experience would be desirable.
- Demonstrates an awareness and understanding of market fundamentals and sourcing.
Responsibilities
- Manage sourcing events/suppliers to deliver results that align with client needs.
- Negotiate supplier agreements and contracts in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Draft, award contracts with suppliers linked to KPIs.

The Sourcing Buyer will sit within our tms, Sourcing Team.
Summary of role:
The Sourcing Buyer role is responsible for running sourcing activities for our clients across multiple categories.
The role covers all customers and works together with our product, category, commercial and vendor teams to deliver value to our clients through our running of sourcing events.
Job Scope and Responsibilities:
- Manage sourcing events / suppliers to deliver results that align with client needs
- Manage sourcing processes with internal and external stakeholders (RFI/RFQ)
- Negotiate supplier agreements and contracts in partnership with key stakeholders
- Draft, award contracts with suppliers linked to KPI’s
- Work with peer group to optimise and leverage cost saving opportunities
- Support & assist the Sourcing Managers with their own complex reviews
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
Qualifications and Skills:
- Entry level positioninto the team: a graduate (or equivalent) orsomeone who has relevant/ transferableexperience
- Global sourcing experience would be desirable
