Oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, including specimen collection, analysis, and result reporting.
Ensure efficient workflows and timely delivery of laboratory services.
Establish and maintain quality assurance programs for laboratory services.
Monitor and evaluate the accuracy and precision of test results.
Develop and implement training programs for laboratory staff.
Support ongoing professional development to ensure staff competence.
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Coordinate with technical staff to address equipment issues promptly.
Manage laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Collaborate with procurement for the timely procurement of laboratory materials.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
Stay informed about changes in laboratory regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Work closely with medical professionals to coordinate laboratory services and contribute to patient care decisions.
