Job summary
A medical facility in Malaysia seeks an experienced professional to manage end-to-end laboratory inventory and store operations. The candidate will ensure optimal stock levels, support compliance with laboratory accreditation standards, and drive process improvement initiatives. A degree in relevant fields and 3-5 years of experience in laboratory operations or healthcare supply chain are required. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential. Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in laboratory operations, inventory, or healthcare supply chain.
- Strong understanding of laboratory reagents, consumables, and inventory control practices.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee end-to-end laboratory inventory and store operations across multiple laboratory disciplines.
- Ensure optimal stock levels, accurate receiving, storage, issuance, and FIFO/expiry management of reagents and consumables.
- Coordinate with Procurement and vendors to ensure timely supply, pricing efficiency, and proper documentation.
- Monitor stock movement, conduct audits and stock counts, investigate variances, and prepare inventory reports.
- Support compliance with laboratory accreditation standards (ISO 15189, CKAP, JCI, MSQH).
- Handle internal customer queries and complaints related to laboratory supplies.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Education

Good analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office / spreadsheets.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
