Job summary
A specialized medical center in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Staff Nurse / Senior Staff Nurse to provide nursing care in endoscopy and daycare settings. The ideal candidate should be a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of clinical experience, possess strong observation skills, and be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Responsibilities include assisting during endoscopic procedures, monitoring patients' vital signs, and maintaining accurate documentation. Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in endoscopy, daycare, or medical-surgical wards.
- Knowledge of endoscopic procedures, sedation protocols, and infection control.
Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all endoscopy equipment is clean, functional, and ready.
- Assist doctors during gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and other endoscopic procedures.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
- Provide bedside nursing care, including monitoring vitals and medication administration.
- Collaborate with doctors and allied health professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
