About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Administrator to join our growing team at Setia Awan Holdings Sdn Bhd in Seri Manjung Perak. As our IT Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and support of our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our systems. This full-time role is critical to the success of our business, and we are looking for a skilled professional who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
2. Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
3. Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
4. Creating user accounts and performing access control.
5. Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
6. Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
7. Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
8. Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
9. Supervising and mentoring IT department employees, as well as providing IT support.
10. Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.

Job Requirements:

1. Possess a Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
2. At least 2-3 years’ experience as IT Administrator, System Administrator, or related position
3. Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
4. Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
5. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
8. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent are advantageous
