Job summary
A Canadian curriculum school in Iskandar Puteri is seeking an IBDP Economics and DP/CP Business Teacher. This role includes teaching Economics and Business subjects, providing non-academic support, and participating in extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Economics or Business, a recognized teaching certificate, and at least 3 years of teaching experience. We are looking for an IBDP Economics and DP/CP Business Teacher to join our Canadian curriculum school in Iskandar Puteri. The role involves teaching Economics and Business DP subjects, providing non‑academic support, and engaging in extracurricular and professional activities.
- Teach Economics and Business DP and CP subjects.
- Deliver lessons aligned with the IB philosophy and teaching methodology.
- Support students in OTHM Career‑Related programme OTHM.
- Provide non‑academic services such as counseling, marketing, and extracurricular activities.
- Participate in professional development and school community activities.
- Bachelor’s degree related to Economics or Business.
- Recognised one‑year post‑qualification teaching certificate (e.g., PGCE) recognised by the Malaysian Ministry of Education.
- Minimum 3 years post‑degree teaching experience.
- Strong understanding of IB curriculum and methodology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: about 12,000 MYR per month plus benefits.
Benefits: full tuition for first child, 50% discount for additional children, housing allowance, insurance, family and spousal allowances.
