Job summary
A local contractor company based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is seeking a professional in Quantity Surveying to manage contract administration and procurement tasks. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, along with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include tender evaluation, cost reporting, and preparing progress claims. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to various ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years' relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform contract administration and procurement.
- Handle evaluation of tender and cost estimation.
- Prepare main progress claim and ensure certification.
- Produce schedule of materials and delivery schedules.
- Monitor material usage by site or sub-contractor.
- Prepare and verify the sub-contractors payments.
- Attend project meetings.
- Complete other assigned duties.
