Job description
SCMS Business Advisory – Puchong New Village
  • Provide day-to-day IT support to office staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Set up and configure company laptops, printers, and email accounts (Outlook).
  • Install, update, and maintain software applications used by staff and clients.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients using SQL Accounting and Payroll software.
  • Conduct SQL software training for new clients or when new modules (e.g. e-Invoice module) are introduced.
  • Perform data backup, restoration, and system updates to ensure data integrity.
  • Monitor and maintain network connectivity and ensure minimal system downtime.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors or service providers when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment, and software licenses.
  • Document technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for internal reference.
  • Assist in software setup, testing, and system implementation when required.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in both hardware and software.
  • Basic understanding of networking, IP configuration, and remote access tools (e.g., AnyDesk, UltraViewer).
  • Familiarity with SQL Accounting software or similar business systems is an added advantage.
  • Comfortable conducting client training sessions (online or in-person).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills — able to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical users.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and perform well under pressure.
  • Positive attitude, reliable, and eager to learn new systems or technologies.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
