Site Safety Supervisor jobs in Malaysia

Site Safety Supervisor will be responsible for providing support to the project management team, supervisors, foreman and workers. This position will provide leadership and coordination of the day-to-day safety requirement of the assigned project.

• Inspect and rectify unsafe conditions at the site
• Correct unsafe practices
• Check sub‑contractors’ work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made thereunder
• liaise with contractor’s safety supervisors appointed under Regulation 26 regarding the safety of work undertaken by sub‑contractors
• handle and monitor general workers’ problems and report to HOD
• maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures
• liaise with JKKP/DOSH and authorized departments (e.g. Bomba, Jabatan Kesihatan, CIDB, etc.) to maintain company progressive safety standards and requirements
• prepare monthly Safety Audit Report to management in a timely basis

• basic computer skills
• good communication and presentation skills
• working experience in an engineering solution based company
• team player and able to work with all levels of staff

• A registered Safety & Health Supervisor with DIOSH/NIOSH/JKKP with Yellow Book holder
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent
• At least 2 years working experience
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent
