Job summary
A leading construction firm in Malaysia is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to assist in implementing HSEMS systems, conduct safety audits, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate has at least a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, or an equivalent certification. Candidates must be registered with DOSH and possess a minimum of one year of experience in safety matters. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact on workplace safety.

Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing HSEMS system on site.
- Conduct investigations on incidents and accidents.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and clients.
- Collect and collate HSE status data.
Skills
Education
We’re looking for a Site Safety Supervisor who’s ready to make an impact.
- Assist HSE Officer/Manager in implementing HSEMS system on site, specifically on the following: safety promotion, safety audit, organizing HSE meetings, conducting toolbox meetings and safety training, preparing reports, maintaining safety records, conduct accident investigation.
- Assist HSE Officer/Manager in carrying out investigations on all incidents and accidents and ensure that all the necessary records are properly maintained.
- Liaise with all the relevant authorities and clients on matters relating to HSE on site.
- Collect and collate data to monitor the status of HSE of each site.
- Secretary of Safety & Health Committee (in the absent of HSE Officer).
- Perform any other ad hoc duties that may be assigned by the Management.
- At least a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, or other relevant discipline, or Management with a Safety and Health Officer certificate organized by NIOSH or other educational institutions recognized by DOSH.
- Registered with DOSH as a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS).
- Minimum one (1) year experience in safety and health matters.
