Job summary
A leading international beverage company is seeking a Sales Representative in Malacca City, Malaysia. This role involves promoting and selling products to key outlets, evaluating customer needs, and developing effective sales strategies. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of field sales experience in an FMCG environment, strong communication skills, and be comfortable with numbers. A valid driver's license is required. This is a great opportunity for self-starters looking to advance their sales career in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of field sales experience preferably in an FMCG environment.
- Highly passionate about sales with a proven track record.
- Driven, outgoing and a self-starter.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell product portfolio to outlets/customers.
- Evaluate and anticipate needs of outlets/customers.
- Forecast sales and develop effective sales plans.
- Look for opportunities and follow up on sales leads.
- Work closely with Marketing for promotions and activation.
- Maintain highest standards of execution and brand presence.
- Gather insights and feedback on market trends.
Skills
Education
Delivers sales volume achievement and market share by developing strong business partnerships with customers in stores.
- Promote and sell our portfolio of products to outlets/customers for stores.
- Evaluate and anticipate needs of the outlets/customers, recommend win-win solutions and build productive long lasting relationships.
- Forecast sales & trends and develop more effective sales plans to deliver on Sales strategies.
- Actively look for opportunities and follow up on sales leads.
- Work closely with Marketing to execute top-notch promotions and activation.
- Constantly maintain highest standards of execution and ensure brand presence & product availability.
- Gather insights and feedback on market trends to improve Sales performance.
- Minimum SPM/Diploma in any field
- At least 1 year field sales experience preferably in an FMCG environment
- Highly passionate about sales; with a proven track record is best
- Has a good understanding of different sales techniques
- Strong communication, negotiation/influencing and interpersonal skills
- Driven, outgoing and is a self-starter
- Comfortable with numbers and is IT literate (Microsoft Excel, etc)
- Must possess a valid full driving license. A Goods Driver's License (GDL) is an added advantage
- Mobile and must be prepared to be transferred
