Job summary

A leading international beverage company is seeking a Sales Representative in Malacca City, Malaysia. This role involves promoting and selling products to key outlets, evaluating customer needs, and developing effective sales strategies. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of field sales experience in an FMCG environment, strong communication skills, and be comfortable with numbers. A valid driver's license is required.   • Work closely with Marketing for promotions and activation.
  • Maintain highest standards of execution and brand presence.
  • Gather insights and feedback on market trends.

Job description

Delivers sales volume achievement and market share by developing strong business partnerships with customers in stores.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell our portfolio of products to outlets/customers for stores.
  • Evaluate and anticipate needs of the outlets/customers, recommend win-win solutions and build productive long lasting relationships.
  • Forecast sales & trends and develop more effective sales plans to deliver on Sales strategies.
  • Actively look for opportunities and follow up on sales leads.
  • Work closely with Marketing to execute top-notch promotions and activation.
  • Constantly maintain highest standards of execution and ensure brand presence & product availability.
  • Gather insights and feedback on market trends to improve Sales performance.
Requirements
  • Minimum SPM/Diploma in any field
  • At least 1 year field sales experience preferably in an FMCG environment
  • Highly passionate about sales; with a proven track record is best
  • Has a good understanding of different sales techniques
  • Strong communication, negotiation/influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Driven, outgoing and is a self-starter
  • Comfortable with numbers and is IT literate (Microsoft Excel, etc)
  • Must possess a valid full driving license. A Goods Driver's License (GDL) is an added advantage
  • Mobile and must be prepared to be transferred
