Job summary

A wildlife park is seeking a proactive individual for a receptionist role, responsible for managing inquiries from the public, handling letters, and assisting visitors. Ideal candidates will be fluent in both English and Malay, possess clerical experience, and maintain integrity. Availability on weekends and public holidays is required. Candidates with a knack for handling pets will be given preference. This position offers an opportunity to engage directly with visitors and contribute to the park's management operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a receptionist and clerical function is preferred.
  • Ability to handle pets in normal circumstances.
  • Available to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming calls and handle inquiries from the public.
  • Receive and assist visitors with inquiries.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing letters.
  • Sort letters to respective addressees.
  • Open common letters addressed to Zoo Negara and forward to the Director.
  • Use walkie-talkie for urgent communications.
  • Ensure departmental forms are sufficient.
  • Follow any other instructions given by management.

  • Ability to provide advice on clerical matters to others, including those of higher grades
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays
Responsibilities
  • To answer all incoming calls and deal with any inquiries from public
  • To receive visitors and deal with any inquiries them
  • To manage all the incoming and outgoing letters except confidental letter
  • To sort incoming letters to respective adressee
  • To open all the common letters to Zoo Negara and send to it to Director
  • To communicate with the walkie-talkie if any urgencies are required
  • To ensure all the departmental forms are sufficient
  • Any other instruction given from time to time bytheManagement
