Job Description:

Our client is known for our innovative agriculture proof of work solution, which serves plantation companies in the tropical plantation industry. Their mission is to drive transparency in tropical plantations by enabling seamless in-field precision data capture.

Searching for a proactive and tech-savvy Field Operations Specialist to join our client's team.

This role requires a unique mix of operational understanding, familiarity with tech, and excellent communication skills. Your primary responsibilities will be overseeing the deployments, training staff, formulating and documenting SOPs, and ensuring maximum device usage in estates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the primary point of contact for estates under your supervision.
• Coordinate, train, and guide estate staff to effectively use our Tanaloxx devices.
• Formulate usage SOPs in collaboration with the estate staff.
• Document use cases, success stories, and challenges encountered.
• Schedule regular check-ins to ensure 100% device usage in the estates.
• Ensure devices are assigned to the correct individuals.
• Act as our internal subject matter expert, advising our tech and data team on operational SOPs and data interpretation.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role in the plantation sector, such as Plantation Manager, Assistant Manager, Agriculture Operations Officer, Field Supervisor, or Estate Administrator.
• Familiarity with plantation operations, preferably in oil palm.
• Comfortable using technology and able to pick up new software quickly.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Proficiency in English and Malay is required. Proficiency in additional languages commonly spoken by foreign plantation workers is a plus.
• Ability to craft clear and comprehensive reports.
• Willingness to travel to different plantation sites as needed.
