Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is looking for a Business Development Manager in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role involves leading a sales team and engaging with high-end clients in the cutting tools industry. Candidates should have 8-15 years of relevant experience and technical expertise to drive discussions and strategy. The position offers performance-oriented compensation and opportunities for regional travel.

- Strong technical background and able to lead technical discussions.

Your profile:
- Preferred graduated technical engineer / Diploma Engineer
- Good knowledge in the machine tool and/or cutting tool industry, minimum 8-15 years of experience in cutting tools or machine tools
- Ability to lead a team in Malaysia
- Strong technical background and able to lead the technical discussions with customers and guide the sales team
- Able to work independently
- Proficiency in PC skills including MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Detail oriented, well-organized and a good team player
- Openness to travel throughout Southeast Asia countries
Your main task is to lead the sales team across the region and to serve our qualified high-end clients. After a short period of training with support by one of our experienced colleagues, you are responsible for all business in Malaysia. We offer a demanding position with high responsibility, a performance-oriented compensation, and support from a worldwide leader.
