Data Center IT Technician: Remote Hands & Customer Support
Job summary
A leading property services firm is seeking a Data Centre Technician in Malaysia to provide daily support and management of Data Centre services. Key responsibilities include ticket monitoring, equipment installation, cable patching, and customer liaison. The ideal candidate should have a minimum IT diploma and at least a year of Data Centre experience, with strong communication skills and a hands-on attitude towards work. The position involves rotating shifts and requires physical fitness.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in IT related field.
- At least 1 year of Data Centre experience in NOC or remote hands.
- Physically fit and willing to work on rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide support in Data Centre services.
- Monitor incoming tickets and respond accordingly.
- Perform power verification and manage equipment installation.
- Conduct security CCTV monitoring and inventory management.
- Assist project teams as required.
