Terminal Operations Supervisor – Safety Excellence
Job summary
A leading energy company based in Malaysia is seeking a Supervisor, Operations for their Prai Terminal. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily terminal operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and leading a team of operators and contractors. Key qualifications include at least 5 years of experience in terminal operations and 2 years in a supervisory capacity. This role emphasizes safety management and continuous improvement initiatives. Relocation opportunities are not available and expatriate assignments will not be considered.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 to 6 years in terminal operations.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of HSSE standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily terminal operations involving marine and tank truck operations.
- Implement HSSE standards and conduct risk assessments.
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Maintain records for regulatory compliance and prepare operational reports.
- Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives for process optimization.
