A construction firm based in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a qualified Site Safety Supervisor. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting site inspections, and providing safety training. The ideal candidate should have a valid Site Safety Supervisor Certificate, 2–3 years of experience in safety supervision, and strong communication skills. This position requires independence and the willingness to work on a project-based contract.
Ensure full compliance with OSHA 1994 and relevant safety regulations at the project site
Implement, monitor, and enforce site safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox meetings
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses
Liaise with project team, contractors, and authorities on safety‑related matters
Maintain proper documentation such as safety reports, permits, and inspection records
Ensure all workers comply with PPE and safety requirements
Provide safety induction and ongoing safety awareness to site personnel
Must possess a Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Certificate / Yellow Book (DOSH registered)
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in construction, industrial, or project environments
Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations
Good communication and leadership skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Willing to work on a project‑based contract
Immediate or short‑notice availability is an added advantage
