Job summary
A logistics company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Account Executive proficient in handling full set of accounts. Responsibilities include managing AP, AR, and financial reporting, along with month-end closing and compliance with accounting standards. Candidates should have at least a Diploma in Accounting/Finance and a minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, ideally within the logistics sector. This position offers a chance to contribute to the financial health of the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience managing the full set of accounts.
- Experienced in logistics and trade preferred.
Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, schedules, and statements.
- Review, verify, and process invoices and payment vouchers.
Skills

- Perform bank reconciliation, sales reconciliation, and AR/AP aging analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, maintain proper accounting records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with annual audits, tax filings, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain systematic filing of financial documents and ensure data accuracy.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities.
- Handle general accounting-related tasks and other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
- Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a professional accounting qualification.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing the full set of accounts.
- Prior experience in logistics and trade is preferred.
