Job summary

A growing company in technical sales is looking for a motivated individual to support sales activities and enhance market share within the region. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing customers while developing new ones. Ideal candidates should hold a degree, be proficient in Mandarin, and possess strong communication and negotiation skills. The role requires computer proficiency and a willingness to travel. The position is based in Simpang Ampat, Penang and involves attending sales meetings and preparing cost analyses.

Job description

To support sales activities and business strategy and to ensure the growth of market share and profitability in the region.

To maintain and service existing customers.

To establish and develop new customers/ market.

Attend to sales inquiries and propose solutions in accordance to customer’s expectation.

To prepare quotation, costing and market analysis.

Liaise with the factory for sales coordination arrangement.

Attend to customers' meeting and involve in discussion, as well as presentation as and when it is required according to customers' requests.

Sales KPI driven.

Job Requirements:

Possess at least degree in any field.

Prefer candidates with working experience in technical sales. However, fresh graduate with enthusiasm for sales is welcome to apply.

Multi-lingual skills in speaking and writing in Bahasa, Mandarin and English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office, Auto-CAD or equivalent.

Candidate must possess own transport.

Willing to travel locally and outstation (Allowance provided).

Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are preferred.

Ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision.
