Job summary
A prominent property development firm in Shah Alam is seeking a legal professional to draft and negotiate agreements, provide corporate legal support, and manage intellectual property matters. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Law, 1-3 years of experience, and strong skills in contract and corporate law. The role involves liaising with regulatory authorities, providing legal opinions, and maintaining compliance documentation. Qualifications
- 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in legal practice and/or in-house roles.
- Member of the Malaysian Bar preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in public-listed companies or real estate/property development is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide legal assistance in corporate projects and liaise with regulatory authorities.
- Handle intellectual property issues and stay updated on relevant laws.
- Provide legal opinions and maintain legal documentation.
