Job description

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for promoting and selling the repair and spares trading services of Client within assigned territories. The role focuses on opportunities in commercial narrow-body operators. You will also develop new business opportunities aligned with the company’s core competencies. This position reports to the Head of Business Development Asia Pacific and the Head of Commercial Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customers across the Asia Pacific region, including airlines, lessors, and brokers.
  • Identify key decision makers responsible for procurement of spares and repair services.
  • Conduct frequent travel for strategic meetings with stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers and senior executives.
  • Gather market intelligence related to current customer solutions and competitors.
  • Develop and present tailored service offerings based on customer needs and local requirements.
  • Negotiate and close long-term commercial agreements.
  • Ensure service levels meet both customer expectations and company standards.
  • Continuously identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build business cases and present them to management.
  • Represent the company in exhibitions, industry events, and trade fairs.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimally proven 5 experience in the aviation industry; parts trading or purchasing experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Additional languages such as Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, etc., are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • High intercultural awareness.
  • Dynamic, curious, and motivated to take on challenges.
