A leading audit firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to manage audit engagements and mentor junior team members. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of external audit experience. Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and regulatory standards is required. - Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, MFRS, MPERS, IFRS, and ISAs.
- Experience in mentoring or leading junior auditors is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Assess financial statements for compliance with MFRS, IFRS, and regulatory standards.
- Identify risks and provide insights for process improvements.
- Review work performed by associates and provide guidance.
- Coordinate with clients to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Stay updated on audit & accounting regulations.

We are looking for a Senior Associate / Audit Supervisor to join our Audit team. In this role, you will manage audit engagements, mentor junior team members, and ensure high‑quality audit execution. If you have strong analytical skills, leadership qualities, and a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you!.
- Lead and execute audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Assess financial statements for compliance with MFRS, IFRS, and regulatory standards.
- Identify risks and provide insights for process improvements.
- Review work performed by associates and provide guidance.
- Coordinate with clients to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Stay updated on audit & accounting regulations.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (Professional qualifications like ACCA, or CPA, are a plus).
- Minimum 3 years of audit experience, preferably in external audit.
- Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, MFRS, MPERS, IFRS, and ISAs.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
- Experience in mentoring or leading junior auditors is an advantage.
